What it does
Solenoid valves are parts that are frequently removed from automatic transmissions and often replaced without being measured. This device lets you connect four valves at once; it drives each channel individually, measures its current and derives its resistance. The device is not tied to a specific transmission type; with the 5 V / 12 V supply selection it can be used with different valve types.
Five operating modes
MANUAL (drive while held), PROPORTIONAL PWM (0–100 % live slider), PULSE (single valve, 1–10 pulses per second), CLEANING (connected valves are pulsed in turn while immersed in solution; 1–60 min timed, also started with the button on the device) and AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENT (resistance and current table for all valves, PDF report).
Protection
Per-channel short-circuit lock (adjustable threshold), total current ceiling and automatic cut-off of an idle supply. The lock reason is shown clearly in the app and cleared with one tap.
Measurement and app
Automatic measurement only flags open circuit, short circuit and not-connected states; the assessment according to valve type belongs to the technician. Android app, Bluetooth link; device firmware is updated from the app.
