DST Test / FDY Test — Account & Data Deletion
This page explains how to delete the account you created in the DST Test (Android: com.dstteknoloji.dsg_test_app · iPhone / iPad: com.dstteknoloji.dsgTestApp) and FDY Test (com.fdyotomotiv.fdy_test) applications developed by DST Teknoloji, and its associated data. The two apps are different brand editions of the same software and share the same account system.
Deleting from within the App (recommended)
- In the App, tap Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- Read what will be deleted in the dialog and enter your password to confirm.
- Tap Delete permanently. Your account and the data listed below are deleted immediately and the App returns to the sign-in screen. An internet connection is required.
Deleting by email
If you cannot access the App, you can also send your account deletion request by email:
- From the email address registered to your account, send an email to info@dst-teknoloji.com.
- Write "Account Deletion" in the subject line.
- Include the email address registered to your account in the body of the email (for verification).
Once we receive your request, we verify your identity and delete your account and the associated data.
Which data is deleted?
- Account details: email address, name and (if any) phone number
- Test data: test results and measurement records
- Test device associations (device serial number links)
- When deleting from within the App, also: the local reports and paired device records belonging to this account on that phone
The test devices themselves (hardware and the software on them) are not affected.
Which data is retained and for how long?
- Deletion from within the App takes effect immediately. Requests sent by email are processed, and the data deleted, within 30 days at the latest.
- Only data that is legally required to be retained is kept for the statutory retention period and deleted at the end of it.
Deleting only part of your data
Without deleting your account, you can also request the deletion of specific test records by writing to info@dst-teknoloji.com.
