DSG Mechatronic Test Device
A bench platform that runs the DSG mechatronic unit under real hydraulic pressure, with automatic and manual tests managed from the app.

What it does
The DSG mechatronic unit is the hydraulic and electronic control centre of the transmission; its behaviour can only be observed under working pressure. The DSG Mechatronic Test Device pressurises the unit on the bench with its own pump, drives the eight solenoid valves individually and continuously monitors each channel's current and the line pressure.
Test flow
The automatic test program runs the stages you select in sequence: solenoid check, pump and pressure test, leak test and up to 1,000 gear changes. In the leak test, the pressure drop is measured over a set period for the body and for each solenoid step; threshold and duration are adjustable from the app (factory setting 18 bar / 50 s). In manual mode, valves are driven while held and gears are selected one at a time.
App and report
The whole flow is managed from the Android app over Bluetooth; if the connection drops, the device completes the running test on its own. The live pressure chart, event log and measurement table go into a PDF report; reports are stored in the cloud. Device firmware is updated through the app.
Assessment
Measurement results are data; the assessment of the unit's condition belongs to the technician.
